Also felt like the upstairs were not really "bedrooms", it was more like the upstairs double bed "room" is like a doorless bedroom and and the single beds are right there, ...

Lovely house in great setting. It is well equipped throughout. There is an onsite care-taker but this was not an issue for us at all. Be aware that the downstairs bedroom does not have any windows, although it does lead off the games room which has large windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was okay , but not much for selection. The server that looked after the morning Breakfast did a great job making sure anything served was always full. I wasn't happy with how much traffic noise there was.Maybe it was just a room placement but I will take note of that for the next stay.
