"Positioned really nicely within Venice, close to all the major travel links including buses and trains. 10-15min walk from all main attractions so perfectly located. Hotel was beautiful, clean and tidy, staff were very helpful. Room was brilliant with loads of space, and the bathroom was modern. Really happy with our stay at Antico Portego and would definitely recommend."

What a lovely spot. We arrived early, and Francesca kindly stored our bags so we could hop on a vaporetto and start exploring right away. The hotel is perfectly located—just steps from a convenient vaporetto stop, making it effortless to navigate the city by boat or travel to and from the airport.

Wheeling bags from train statiin was easy as well.
Fantastic view right on the water.

"This room is quite small with limited space for luggage. There is neither closet nor hooks to hang outerwear. The kitchen fridge was not working but there was a nice water cooler/ heater. Convenient to the waterbus and walkable to breakfast. Bed was comfortable. On the first floor is a small room adjacent to the kitchen area with a couple of tables to work or eat. "

"the location was a bit off the beaten path in venice which was lovely for getting a good nights sleep in venice’s busy tourist season. moreover, its location can’t be beat for the price. while it may not have canal views not having to cart your luggage through crowds and across bridges is priceless and Hotel Rossi is only a 5 minute walk from the santa lucia train station.
