6/10 Okay

Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
The hotel has a very convenient location, just about a one-minute walk from the train station, which made getting around Venice very easy. Unfortunately, the room was extremely small and felt outdated. The furniture and everything inside the room looked quite old, and there was a noticeable old/musty smell. The bathroom also had an issue with the hot water. In the middle of taking a shower, the hot water would suddenly stop, and we had to wait for it to come back. Overall, the hotel is in a great location, but the rooms and facilities really need to be updated. Considering the price we paid, I don’t feel the hotel offered good value for money.

The room had a lot of character and the hotel is in a very convenient location. I don’t usually have such negative things to share about my stays, but I do not recommend this hotel. The bed mattress had springs that dug into my body. The shower grout had black mold and the tub was all marked up. The carpet in the rooms was creepy and smelled like dirty feet. I was supposed to get a free bottle of wine with my almost $1000 CAD room, but it was never provided. I felt most of the reception staff was rude. Perhaps they think I am American, but even so, that is no reason to be rude or simply unfriendly.
