"The Marker is a great hotel. We were unsure of the area. In all the area was safe. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. My family and I took an Uber to pier 39 and walked back hitting a few of the tourist spots. "

"Great location, just a block from Polk Street! The room had just enough seating to spread out our wet rain gear. The shower had nice pressure and stayed hot. I did wish there had been a hook or two in the bathroom to hang towels, but we were supplied more. Often televisions are sparse on channels at some hotels, but we were able to watch everything from the Olympics to Cartoon Network (after the receptionist helped us!) The fridge was large enough to hold several cans of seltzers, water bottles and yogurts for our breakfast. "
