"The Blind Tiger was a gem. It was convenient and private enough to enjoy with staff available 24/7 with and questions. The room, lobby and all areas were immaculate and brilliantly arranged. I would definitely go again!"

"This is the second time we have stayed here. Love the location can walk to every thing in town. Rooms are always clean and someone is always there if you need anything"
"Excellent location within walking distance of all amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room well sized and bed very comfortable. Restaurant food excellent. "
"The accommodations were clean, comfortable and welcoming. And then there is location, location, location! Amazing view! Lots of green space for walking, sitting on a bench or in a gazebo admiring the view. We also enjoyed some late afternoons on the front porch of this home. Nearby tennis and pickleball courts. Residential neighborhood with beautiful gardens and interesting architecture. A short walk or drive to restaurants and shops. Our host, Dan was very welcoming and has a vast knowledge of local history and culture as well as an entrepreneur. We left with a variety of his Captain Mowatt’s sauces. "
"Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again."
