The hotel definitely needs a facelift but it was fine for a brief one night stay. The bed was comfortable. When the elevator got stuck on the 5th floor while we waited in the lobby, the front desk clerk was quick to walk up the 5 flights to address the situation.

I found the Clarion to be very much a product of its time. The decades since it was built show in the carpeted pool area, the small bathrooms, the clunky elevator. Old enough to be noticably old but not old enough to be retro chic. Fine for a night or two but not as an extended stay. Actual restaurant for breakfast was nice.

To begin, the entrance to the property is poorly marked. We drove past it before noticing the hotel. It was a challenge to get to the actual hotel entrance. The exterior has a look of an older marginally maintained hotel. It shares a portion of its parking lot with two other businesses that did not look enticing. The room doors on our floor did not look in great shape. The window sheers in our room were in shreds. The curtains were okay, just barely covered the window. The A/C was not the best but kept the room cool. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was acceptable. Breakfast was not included in the room rate. There is a restaurant of some fashion off the lobby. We did not partake, so I cannot offer a review of it.

Daniel at the front desk was friendly and stored our bags for us while we went to the Children’s Museum nearby. Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and nice. Only problem was the windows were up high and small. No view but if you looked out it would have been the roof. Also the small windows made it hard to adjust the airflow. We did get a late check out for free.

Larger clean pool. We had it to ourselves

Staff were helpful. Be aware no coffee in the lobby. Breakfast not included but there is an in house restaurant. Our room had a bad smell and our traveling companions did not. Shuttle to airport was fast and efficient. Stress free

We were going to a concert at Thompson's Point and this hotel was the perfect location. It was under a 10 minute walk to the show. Also, the people working behind the desk were very nice.

Easy to get to and from airport, only thing didn’t like was no shuttle after 8:00 pm. Otherwise great.

The person who checked us in was very friendly. The property itself is dated and could do with some renovations. The rooms appeared neat, but when we move the comforter and sheets back to inspect them (I was having surgery the next day and had to sleep on clean, freshly washed sheets), we found hairs in one of the beds. Not a bad place, could be a little cleaner though. No sign of bed bugs at all, major plus.

I had reserved a room through Expedia a few months back thinking it was all set. Arrived at the front desk of the hotel, and they did not have my reservation or name on file. They were unhelpful and all their rooms were sold out so we had no where to stay. We had driven 2+ hours to Portland and received no email communications expressing any issues with our reservation. Very disappointed in this hotel but even more, Expedia.

Friendly staff, hotel registration area clean and smelled great. I am sure the rest of the hotel was just as clean. The reason for my poor review is as follows. Pictures on the site are deceiving. It shows a bar to have cocktails. We wanted food and beverages on site so we did not have to drive, breakfast items were the only food available besides vending machines. It was a big disappointment considering I spent a great deal of time locating the perfect hotel. After the clerk advised me of no bar or restaurant were no longer offered at the hotel she offered me a refund. Sadly I booked through a third person Expedia and was not able to cancel my reservation in any way. I booked and stayed somewhere else that had bar and restaurant on site.

The room was not ready when i arrived at 4:20pm. I was informed they were down one house keeper. The front desk said they would call when the room was ready. I called at 530pm, and it was atill not ready. I called again at 630pm and was told the room was ready but no one called me to tell me. I was waiting outside for 2 hours. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Room was not ready at stated check in time it was 45 later and Che k I. Person was unprofessional took shuttle to a ferry and was told when done to call for pickup and tried to call for over an hr with no answer so had to uber back costing money we had not anticipated
