Location is excellent. Short walking distance to every good restaurant and shop. The property was very nice and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The gym is very good sized for the size of the apartment building with 13 units in it. The management’s communication was prompt and friendly and responded to all of our wishes. However, the place is advertised as a hotel, but don’t expect services as in a hotel. It resembles more a short term rental home - no cleaning service and no lobby. Otherwise everything was very nice in the apartment and we had a great time.

This is probably the cleanest, most beautiful hotel for the money we’ve ever stayed in. The nightly rate was comparable to the other hotel rooms in town, but here you get a huge spacious apartment! All new, chic, and very comfortable. Easy to walk to Wharf St. and the dining and shopping area too! The manager was very responsive, friendly and accommodating as well! This place is a gem!

Excellent place to “camp out” in Portland

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at The Weldon Hotel - a beautiful new property. Very nice layout, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. They pretty much thought of everything. They even had a turntable with some eclectic, cool albums. Easy walk to waterfront, shopping, and great eats. We were happy to trade very comfortable space with furnished kitchen vs full-service hotel with musty rooms. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Portland.

Modern Friends Trip to Portland

This is a gem! Unassuming from the outside, but modern and comfortable on the inside and convenient to the old port and other points of interest. Communication and response was excellent. Asked for more towels upon arrival, and they were promptly delivered to our suite. Perfect place for our friends trip to Portland! Only (minor) complaint was that the size of the bedrooms were a little small, but the rest of the space and amenities were large and more than we needed!

Overall, the stay was great. The lower-level suite was a bit noisy, as we were at ground level; however, I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for full amenities and a short commute to everything in downtown Portland.

This place was amazing. Check in so easy. Not only was the suite amply sized, it was beautifully furnished. We had a turntable, comfortable couch, a kitchen with every implement we could ever need. Would be an outstanding choice for a longer stay.

What a wonderful experience. We loved the suites and everything about The Weldon. They were so great accommodating us for an early check-in to get ready for a wedding in town. The kitchen amenities were fabulous to prepare a full meal, and the living room area provided a cozy space to hang out and relax with everything you need. Highly recommend booking The Weldon for your stay in Portland.

Very easy communication leading up to the reservation. No issues with getting codes for entry. Suite was impeccable upon entry. Easy walk to old port for dinner and drinks. amazing!

everything was amazing, there is absolutely nothing to change. Communication was great (we had a little issue with smoke smell checking-in and they immediately switched us to another suite), equipment is on point (special mention to the Taylor Swift album to listen to on the turntable), the bad was so comfy. We'll come back, that's for sure!
