"Superb hotel...cosy and well-run. Excellent spa facilities with an indoor, heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room - kids are allowed. Good food but could have done with a wider menu choice for prepaid half-board customers (only 3 mains to choose from whereas a-la-carte had much more choice). Helpings were also just a little on the smaller side. Plus noise levels can get quite high at dinner times from 'loud' guests (with little noise control by the staff). Excellent customer service otherwise - they even came and knocked on my door when i didn't initially answer my wake-up call! Lovely scenery outside plus a popular golf course. Recommended if you are visiting the area."

"Absolutely terrible stay, air conditioning not working, lady at desk said it because the sun shining on the room ! Said she look at it but did nothing except put fan in room eventually. Terrible terrible attitude and service from staff"

"Appreciate this is a budget hotel but was surprised how poor the room was. Only good feature - it is quiet. Bed is ok - firm mattress. Room is, of course, tiny. But - there was no bathroom, just freestanding shower (with bad drain smell), sink and toilet(taking up as much room as a bathroom would). Biggest issue is no kettle in room, requiring you to go down to first floor to try and find “refreshment” room, which does not appear to be signposted and could be anywhere along any one of 4 corridors. I was not very comfortable wandering around dark hotel corridors trying to find it. I do understand on-airort hotels are premium but i have previously had a better room here for less money, so this was disappointing."

"Clean and comfortable room. Excellent meal in the restaurant. Early start so no time for breakfast! So convenient for the airport!"

"This beautiful hotel is just a short drive from the NEC yet is somehow set deep in the countryside with stunning views. The staff are impeccable in every way; kind, friendly, attentive and they manage to combine all this with utter professionalism. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and the beds, linen and mattresses all feel sublime. The food is stunning, the breakfast is wonderful and being able to sit in the lounge, selecting your own choice of vinyl records adds a magical touch. This hotel is simply perfect, I cannot fault our experience in any way."

"The room was okay. This was a remodel of an older hotel. The lobby was nice, the exterior was nice, but the room had been smoked in the past, and once that is baked into the walls and carpets, it never comes out. I can always tell because I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke. The caulk job in the bathroom left some to be desired. The check-in gent was very kind and efficient. Parking costs 17 pounds for a night and there’s plenty of it. Breakfast was pretty typical of the Hilton genre, which is solid."
