It was terrible. We had a horrible experience there. We planned to stay in 10 days quarantine (13-24June2021)and paid. They gave letters to many guests to leave the hotel without explanation on 17thJune2021 and now no refund from hotel.com after almost two weeks. Two days before the date they told us to leave, one stuff was very rude, she came to our room and tried to ask us leave the hotel immediately. I was helpless and my little kids were so scared. She said they were not the quarantine hotel and we had to leave. I explained we are from the amber list not red list and we confirmed with NHS we could stay there. At last she left , but afraid to be kicked out for two days long, we stay till only on 17th June 2021 and arranged new place to stay by ourselves with no compensation and no refund. As the hotel showed us receipt that they refunded to hotel.com, I don’t know why I didn’t hear any news from hotel.com. I suggest you to stay in Ramada if you want to be a homeless.
Lovely location just across from the church and just off the High Street in Solihull but the hotel has seen better days. No food being served as the restaurant and bars were all closed and the hotel looked really old and tired. The corridor carpets looked dirty and the doors and paintwork were in a poor state. On the plus side the upgraded double room as pretty nice.
Our stay was a disappointing when on the first morning we returned 2 hour later and my partner slipped on the bathroom floor as it was still wet after showering. Thankfully he was unhurt. On the second morning a good while after shower where we had no hot water there was an excessive amount of water which had not drained away. As we left the hotel at 10am we reported this to reception pointing out that this was a health and safety risk and that my partner had slipped the previous day and asked that it was addressed. The reply was thanks for letting us know I will get it seen to. On returning to the hotel at 9.30pm there was no change to the floor in the bathroom so I reported again. Staff who attended the room it was due to not having a maintenance team at the weekend to which we replied you don’t need a maintenance team to mop a floor. On replying to this comment the staff apologised. Luckily nobody had any injury on this occasion.
Very nice room. Bar area and corridors need some modernisation

Nice hotel, great duplex room
Hotel had only just reopened from lockdown. Centrally located to town centre, free parking when staying at the hotel. We had a Duplex room which was great for the family, nice stay
Very nice hotel, room was lovely and indian meal was excellent. The only down side was we had paid for bed and breakfast and had to leave at 6.45. They would not do any kind of breakfast for us. My partner went into the breakfast room at 6.45 and there was nothing laid out. Wasn't very happy about this as we had a full day at Crufts on an empty stomach!!!!
Good size room with comfortable beds. Hotel was quiet even tho we overlooked the car park. Some issues with the electrics because one bedside light didn't work so couldn't read in bed. We reported it but it wasn't fixed during our stay. The kettle lid was broken so wouldn't open. It was replaced but the new one wasn't consistent, sometimes turned itself off before it boiled. However the staff were friendly and the food was very good
What a lovely place. The staff were outstanding, food was great and had a fantastic choice. The room was lovely. We really enjoyed it and will definitely book again. Highly recommend

I had a lovely stay over. Staff extremely friendly, room very cosy
The hotel has an adjoining function suite so we were disturbed by revelers returning to their rooms between 0030 and 0130. This punctuated an otherwise restful nights sleep. The hotel has good, free parking and easy access to the HIgh Street with a mix of bars and restaurants. It is a brisk ten minute walk to the railway station which has excellent links into the City Centre.
location was very handy for shops & restaurants. free parking was a bonus

Ramada by Wyndham Birmingham Solihull Review
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Decor is quite tired. Did not sleep to well due to hard bed and also very noisy guests banging on doors and shouting through the night in corridor and rooms nearby. Bar and attached restaurant was very good.Breakfast was a bit hit and miss.
