"It’s not every day you have the opportunity to stay in accommodations built over 200 years ago! The history of the home was provided in great detail in a binder in our room making our visit that more memorable. Anne and Alan were superb hosts. Their warmth and genuine kindness elevated our stay to a 5 star! Breakfast was amazing in presentation and delicious to our palettes! If we are ever in the area again we will come back to the Pratt Smith House. Ps. I traveled with my 87 year old mother and it was a little daunting for her going up the narrow steep stairs but she did it. My mom enjoyed her stay and even commented that her bed was very comfortable. Just want to put that out there in case there are issues for anyone with climbing stairs."

"There were 8 of us staying at this property. We had plenty of room for sleeping, socializing, cooking, dining and playing cards! There was more than enough room for our four vehicles. The owner responded quickly whenever we contacted him. We would visit it again when we’re in the area!"

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."
