「The cabin itself wasn’t very spacious, but it was well-equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were clean and comfortable. Our only difficulty was that there wasn’t enough outdoor lighting after sunset, which made cooking outside a bit challenging.」

「The cottage was pretty easy to find and nice to stay in but we like a little more privacy. Thanks!」

「Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!」

「Amazing sauna session」

「Everything was good. I wish the TV reception would’ve been better. I feel bad for people that don’t have any kind of Roku account because they won’t be able to watch TV.」

「Great communication with the host, Kevin. The place was clean and comfy for our one night of Troll Hunting at the Wild Center Would highly recommend this place over a lot of the motels in the area.」

「Great place to stay near Ticonderoga NY」

「Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the view and there is easy access to local towns and hiking trails.」

「I met both owners, Mary and Kevin. They are wonderful, friendly people. My room was so cozy and comfy, decorated beautifully, and the bathroom had everything I needed. Please use VRBO to book Village Hideaway, as Expedia does not make finding messages easy.」

「Beautiful cabin that has EVERYTHING you need for a relaxed and fun family vacation. A lot of attractions within 30 min -1 h drive on Keuka and Seneca lakes. The hosts are great! Thank you Ray and Destiny - we will come again!」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Birch Suite in Colden Lodge! The suite was absolutely immaculate, bed was super comfy and the location was just right. Close enough to walk to town but without the noise. Beautiful lakeside lodge. Amazing hosts! It was the perfect anniversary getaway for us.」

「House is very cute and decorated with bluebirds throughout. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable. View of lake from front window is lovely although there is no access to the lake. The house is not located on the lake front; only a view of lake through neighbors yard. This surprised me as I thought house was on the lake. We drove around the lake to find the access to the water. Walking through neighbors yard to stand at waters edge is not an option and to be respected. Very cozy and clean....

「Overall it was great and perfect for my kids, only request I would suggest is darker curtain or blinds because sun comes thru early. I definitely recommend this place and its location was perfect for us.」
