「The room was clean and the staff was very nice. We did have a balcony that looked out over the water, but that area needed some attention.」

「The room was clean and well maintained. Both the bar and diner was staff appropiately, with good service and food. I was given a room next to the interstate and every time a truck or big vehicle went by as I thought it was an airplane based on the sound it made. I was too tired and did hear it but it was a short time before I was asleep. The location was convenient as I was going to Fort Drum for a wedding, and the travel time between both places was short.」

「Did not have any heat and hot water」

「Because Hampton Inn is our usual “go to” hotel when we’re on the road, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the carpet in our room and the bathroom floor. Fitness Facility floor could also use a good cleaning Otherwise, standard Hampton Inn quality.」

「It was a clean basic accommodation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was closed too early so we’re not able to access while there. But they did let us get a coffee. Good overall stay」

「Always very clean. Lots of hot water. All appliances always work. A nice, budget-friendly, family-owned option instead of overpriced chain hotels.」

「Quaint, clean property. Friendly staff. Would stay again.」

「We got exactly what we wanted. A room with a beautiful view of the River and Bolt castle. The resort was very clean and well staffed. The only problem we had was timing. We got there a week late. Everyone had left and nothing was open. Maybe next year we will visit the castle. Alex bay is a ghost town after October 15.」

「The location was good except for a lot of traffic noise.」
