"Excellent staff, extremely kind and helpful. Large and quiet room; had a great view and it was always kept immaculate as far as hotels can possibly be. Direct access to train station and located in nice secure area right by the Prime Minister’s offices."

"Loved loved loved waking up and having breakfast at the hotel and then heading out for the day! It is what we miss the most. It was the most serene way to start the day. The spa treatment was so soothing and relieving!"

Price-wise, the Grand Hyatt falls into the middle group of luxury hotels in Tokyo -- not as expensive as the Park Hyatt but on average a bit more expensive than the New Otani. For the price, you get absolutely top quality service, a beautifully clean and stylish room, top-notch facilities (including spa), and great restaurants (if you have the expense account for them). If you can, you will enjoy treating yourself to a truly first-rate experience there.

Beautiful property with lovely rooms. Location is quiet, so it is a little distance to main tourist sites. As the pool is part of the building (commercial) gym, no kids allowed, which was a shame.

Feels very clean and new; the development around the hotel has a lot of dining and drinking options. Subway stop a few levels down very convenient! Staff very kind and helpful.

Great hotel, 3 minute walk from Tamachi station. Room is very clean, great shower pressure, very modern ambiance, courteous staff. Seven eleven, Life supermarket and many restaurants in the building across. To get to the hotel from Narita airport, take Skyliner access train (39 minute) non stop to Nippori station, then change to JR Yamanote line to Tamachi station (25 minutes), the cost is 2470 YEN. You can buy train ticket and Pasmo card at the ticket machine (English language available) with...

the Conrad is one of the very best 5 star hotels that I have stayed in. The views overlooking Tokyo Bay and Hamarikyu gardens are great. The hotel is a short walk to Hamarikyu garden and the Sumida river water bus. The fish market is nearby. The hotel sits above Shiodome subway station and communicates underground with Shimbasi station.

We stayed here recently for about 2 weeks and cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff was excellent as was our room. They provide complimentary shuttle service to 2 train stations which made getting around Tokyo extremely easy. Although there is a Pharmacy within a 10 min. walking distance, my only recommendation would be to have basic medicine (such as headache) for sale maybe in the gift shop. Oh, and Anti-itch cream....we walked through the beautiful Garden area and I had gotten bitten...

The rooms were spacious and luxurious (amenities such as tooth paste, pajamas etc). The room service was fast and tasty. The front desk, house keeping were all incredible! The hotel is by far one of the best 5 stars we’ve stayed at.

The most amazing king size bed we’ve ever seen. 92” wide! Perfectly firm. Great views from 29 floor and up renovated rooms. Amazing shower bath and spacious. Breakfast buffet was excellent and we enjoyed the lounge.

It's a comfortable, cozy hotel. The lobby area does not feel like a big corporate hotel. They had a very nice christmas tree in the lobby with a little town and a working electric train. Lots of people were taking photos of that (as did we). The counters for check-in also seemed quite personal and friendly. The staff were helpful and nice, as are most in Japan. Our room was quite good, not small. The pillows were nice and thin, just as I like. The bed was comfortable. The curtains were pretty...

They just finished a big renovation. It locates a very convenient location in the center of Tokyo. Just a short walk to Shinagawa train station. You can catch a bullet train there.

I had the privilege to stay in the Garden Suite, with access to the Club Lounge. The check-in was SWIFT. A manager came, handled my little luggage and a bell-boy took over and walked me to the Club Lounge. Hot & cold drinks & tea-time snacks were served. I spent an hour before going to the Suite. The suite is IMPECCABLE, from the furnishing to the amenities (Imabari towels) & toiletries (Bamford). It has a large balcony. Though it was rather windy, I kept one of the large panels open. The VIEWS...
