Hot springs at night and free ramen at night. A great place to relax at night after a long day

A unique experience! Comfortable, very clean, and the staff were very hospitable. The onsen were very relaxing. Most notable was the food—absolutely stunning presentation and very interesting (we are new to Japanese food). The ryokan is on the quieter side of town but it’s still possible to walk to the attractions, especially on the path beside the lake.

When I arrived I was greeted by a very sweet old lady and man. They showed me to my room with so much kindness. I could feel the love. My room has strong air conditioning (very important during summer) I was served an incredible dinner in a private room and I enjoyed a bath. A young man spoke very good English to me and suggested I wake up at 5am to watch the monks chant. I did and loved it. They served me an amazing breakfast the next day and I left. I loved staying here very much, I will...

Dining is good affordable

It‘s a bit of the beaten path and not fancy but the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you get a room looking out over the lake you can see Mt Fuji from your bed if it’s not hiding.

This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend.

The hotel is lovely. The room with the Mt.Fuji view was big with a couch & chair from which we could view the mountain to our heart’s content. The shower/bath was large and comfortable. The beds were firm. The room was clean. The staff was accommodating. Fuji-Q amusement park is next door, but there was no noticeable noise in the hotel. 7-11 is on property. There are multiple options available for food. Our only complaint is that the transportation options from the rail station were not...

I saw someone share photos of this Onsen on instagram and had to see if they had rooms available. I’m so glad I did! The property is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and kind, and the food was exceptional. I got a room with a balcony over the fish pond and a private bath and I enjoyed every second of my stay. I will absolutely come back the next time I am in Japan. The trip from Tokyo was about an hour by train, and the Onsen has shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off when you...

Even prettier than the pictures and Mount Fuji feels so close

We arrived late but the owner came to pick us up at the bus stop and took us back to our place. Check in was smooth and the lady gave us a little tour of our cottage as well and explained everything. The place was spotless and had a perfect view of mount fuji. There was plenty of space and we could have easily fit more people in our cabin than just the 4 of us. I enjoyed sleeping on traditional tatami mats, which were super comfy. As well as enjoyed the shower room and deep soaker tub. (they...

Good location, very nice rooms and onsen. Plenty of parking area. Onsen room was cold, very unusual. Other then that, hotel is clean and nice. GREAT view, if you pick the rooms with terrace, looking over Mt. Fuji.

Excellent pick, good space.

Beautiful view, hot tub outside with view is breath taking, food was good, staff were VERY nice.

Amazing place!

We showed up early (2 hrs) and the staff was still able to accommodate us and hold bags. We got lucky in this…wouldn’t recommend planning for it. This is a small hotel (possible four rooms) but a fantastic value and comfort. The staff member was very polite and spoke good English to help us enjoy our stay in Kofu. Thank you!

All great! Wish they were public so I could invest. They are doing a great job in all areas!

Beautiful property. All the details taken care off. Amazing porche with Mount Fuji view. Has a grill, your own wooden bath. The only caveat is that you need taxi for everything from this location, which we did it care.

I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. We loved this place. Yes, the insides are a little dated and the feel of it is very rural. But the employees there are amazing and very helpful. The rooms themselves were extremely clean. The local bus line to all of touristy stuff around the area is 50 yards out the front door of the hotel. The Dino Diner and the breakfast spot next to it are just around the corner and have amazing food. There is a large park next to the bus stop and a scenic...
