so i visited from september 16-20th, mind you this was my first ever international trip & it was very mid. the locals there got better treatment than i did & i paid 1300 excluding private transport to be there. during the duration of my stay, i had no wash cloths I had to wash up with a literal hand towel! i called the concierge for days to get wash rags.. they waited til my last full day to bring me two wash cloths!! the “15 minute shuttle” was never on time. most times i had to walk in exhausting heat & in the dark while some shuttles rode pass us because they were headed the other direction or full! the Buffett for dinner was absolutely disgusting. They withheld reservations til i had to blow up about going to bed hungry my first ever night! the property was beautiful no lies but the rooms was so out dated! the coatis were constantly in the breakfast areas stealing food from peoples plates which is UNSANITARY! cleaning crew didn’t come in everyday to clean. the people on the beach tried to con me and my friend out of money to ride the jet skis until we looked up the conversions online. let’s not forget the force of trying to make us by time shares & saying “no pressure” 😂 i ended up leaving my blanket behind & called the resort 4 times the day I left to see if they could possibly ship it back to me & literally no answer! this was a mid first experience & i will definitely stay else where in Cancun!
