Amazing! We loved our stay here. Fantastic location downtown, walkable shopping and dining, and rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Parking was a little expensive but convenient. The location was perfect if you like shopping. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and a nice plaza. Driving distance was pretty good to Granville Island and other key areas. Rooms were large, suite style with a comfortable bed, nice TV, and a full kitchen and fridge if you prefer to have dinner in your room. Staff were very friendly, always helpful and professional, and the amenities were great. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Vancouver.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location in Vancouver. The hotel staff are super friendly and the room we stayed in was great. We stayed in three different hotels during our stay in Vancouver and this was by far the best. It was spacious and clean and we were offered a free upgrade. Definitely staying here again!

We recently stayed at the Paradox hotel for four days and, overall, had a very pleasant experience. Although we initially encountered a few inconveniences with our room, Michael, the Duty Manager, handled the situation exceptionally well. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring our comfort. Michael promptly resolved the issue by kindly offering us a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which we truly appreciated. Thanks to Michael’s excellent customer service, friendliness, and problem-solving skills, our stay turned into a very enjoyable experience. He is a true asset to the hotel, and we are grateful for his outstanding hospitality.

Tremendous, comfortable, and conveniently located for our cruise vacation. It is our go to place in downtown Vancouver.

I loved the Smithe House; everything was great and included everything you might need. One thing that would make it even more fabulous is that I wish there were housekeeping at least every other day. Aside from that, it was great )) also staff was very helpful as well, they accommodated us with early check-in which was very helpful.

This hotel was one of the most beautiful places that we have ever stayed, hosted by some of the friendliest and most helpful staff! We will definitely be planning to come back in the future. The room and the whole hotel could not have been more spotless. The staff really go the extra mile by dropping off little treats for you each day that you stay, and everyone always greets you with a smile and a hello, no matter how briefly you are passing through the common areas. We were only in town for a very short time and unfortunately, didn’t make it to the Bacchus, but we will make a point to the next time we stay for sure! If it is anything like the rest of the hotel, I have no doubt it will be top-notch. Thank you to the whole staff for a wonderful experience!

Impeccably clean room,towels,linens, wow. Very friendly staff. Helpful. Breakfast delicious. Bars amassing. Bar Food wow. Dinner on second floor delicious. Cafe close early. Bar opens late. But Something for everyone. Will visit again. Location is great. Walking distance to everywhere. Timmies and Starbucks around the corner literally. Over all 20 out of 10!!!!

Breakfast was lovely. Staff attentive. Organic eggs delicious. Gym was great - very clean, functional and upscale. Cold wet cloths in the fridge were a refreshing add on to the usual gym towels.

I would have liked to access the breakfast offered to other guests but because I booked with Expedia I was unable to access
