"They don’t comp parking. You have to pay extra for parking. You ask the staff and they play ignorant saying yes they do cover it. They give you a sheet to scan, then it charges you for parking. There is nothing but coffee cream stocked in the mini fridge. Parking is confusing. Valet out front with no mention of that service on the 3rd party website."

"I had a very pleasant 6 night stay at Accent Inns Richmond. It is a lovely, family-oriented inn with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Everything was great and I was very happy with my stay. I especially enjoyed the coffee/tea service in the reception area. The shuttle service was also excellent. It made getting to the airport so much easier and took away a lot of the stress of travelling. I would just like to make one suggestion that I feel is especially important for safety. There was no grab bar in the bathtub to hold onto when getting in or out of the tub. For anyone who is older or has mobility concerns, this can be a safety issue, particularly when the tub is wet. Installing a secure grab bar would make the bathroom much safer and more accessible. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and appreciate the friendly and comfortable environment. I would be happy to stay at Accent Inns again."

"Honestly only thing I would change is the very parking situation when you first get there. If you are driving into Vancouver and need parking, they do offer gated paid parking that does feel far more secure than the paid parking right next to the hotel itself, but you do have to go and check in first to get the pass. And to do that, you either have to find space to pull up outside the hotel, which there isn’t always space available (there wasn’t in our case), or park and pay in the one right next to it for the least amount of time, so you can offload your bags/suitcases and then drive round the corner to park at their gated paid parking. Or you’ll have to do what we ended up doing which was figuring all that out in the moment and then lugging 4 suitcases from the gated parking round the corner all the way to the hotel. To be fair, that is literally the only thing I’d change. We stayed in two different rooms and I would definitely recommend the king room over the standard Queen. Especially when travelling with luggage and needing extra space. And the king room has a mini fridge which I in particular really appreciate in rooms. The staff were all wonderful. Rooms were all clean and well kept. Location is pretty good. Would definitely book here again if I ever went back to Vancouver! Thanks so much for a great stay!"
