After I reported it, they sent a housekeeping staff member to verify the issue before alerting maintenance. "For a historic boutique hotel it was decent. It was kinda hard to get to for our driver. The rooms were definitely older with older furniture, dated looking bathroom, and a noticeable smell. The breakfast was convenient. As a westerner that it fine with the Hampton Inn, it wasn’t somewhere I would book again."
