We enjoyed our stay at the Spice Tree Hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were nice. The location was great for exploring StoneTown and the staff also offered great recommendations. We had a great stay!

Great property and as to be expected as part of the Marriott Bonvoy family. Everything worked as expected from “central air conditioning”, WiFi, elevator, TV with major news channels and in-house restaurant with room service. I was thoroughly impressed and this is my new “Go To” hotel while visiting Zanzibar.

Good location and affordable in comparison to other hotels nearby. Staff initially put us into a room which had a strong smell, and then moved us to another room promptly once we raised the issue. This happened once again, but they were still accommodating and gave us a room which was fit for purpose.

This is a lovely hotel with a short walking distance to the main shopping.area. The rooms are nicely appointed but few of them have any views. The rooms are quiet, the staff attentive. I would stay here again

A great location in the middle of Stone Town. A few minutes walk to the Freddie Mercury Museum. Great facilities including a nice pool and garden. Very helpful friendly staff.
