"We checked in to find out the hotel overbooked king rooms. So we were told we had to take a queen. This wasn't ideal with a small toddler but we would make it work. We checked in late but had 40 minutes to enjoy the pool before it closed. So we put out suitcases in the room, changed and rushed down to the pool. 40 minutes later we get back to the room to discover ants crawling all over our stuff. I was bitten. I went down to inform the manager and she asked me if I wanted to change rooms, of course I did. Not the best start to a short weekend trip. Later we noticed the halls of floor 4 had ants in the common areas."

"The beds were clean and comfortable. The pool was disgusting and smelled like pond water. Our television in our room didn’t work, even after having staff look at it. Overall, I will not be staying again."

"Staff was friendly, the breakfast had a nice variety pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy ( just to name a few). Only draw back was the pool was not open. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again. "

"Drug deals witnessed in parking lot. Daily weed smelled in halls and rooms. Trash piled up at room across from me for 24 hours Rude staff. And people with ankle monitors holding dogs while making a mess at coffee bar. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from guest and staff. Will not return"

"The body wash dispenser was completely empty. The same thing happed at a Hampton a week later. So I decided to call out both places. When you are paying $250 a night little details like this should not be overlooked. If I had stayed at the Econolodge I would have had a bar of soap."

"My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay! The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and the location was ideal. Only about 15-20 minutes from the downtown area and Wrightsville Beach. The staff was helpful, and our check-in and checkout process was smooth. Ashley was at the front desk when we arrived, and she offered a warm welcome. Ashley was also attentive and checked up on us to ensure we had a great time. Only thing missing was the pool, as it was closed during our stay. Nonetheless, would definitely visit in again. :)"
