"The home was really nice and centrally located. The private beach access just across the street was convenient and the ocean views from the balcony provided the perfect spot for morning coffee or late evening relaxing. The condo was spacious and provided ample space for our group to hang out together or chill in your own spot. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and plenty of seating at the table. One of the nicest and best laid our floor designs we’ve stayed in over the years."

"I have been doing beach trips twice a year and this was by far the best. The place was spotless and well equipped. Steve the host is great and right on top of everything. The area is great and quiet."

"We read reviews from earlier this year, and we’re concerned about the cleanliness and the condition. Property was spotless inside, and things were a bit aged and worn, but that did not matter to us. We didn’t expect a separate downstairs apartment, which was nice except for the lousy bunkbed mattresses. The three bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable. It occurred to me to ask whether I could fix some of the little things that a homeowner can do, but I decided I’m not picking up a screwdriver all week. My son and I noticed lots of aluminum shards in the sand just as soon as you step up the concrete going towards the ocean. These could be easily taken up by one of those rolling magnets. Taking care of that little problem would go a long way towards safety and comfort.. We like to try different beach houses every year, and we’d gladly return to Shoo Fly again."

"Great stay with everything you need, loved the pool just outside, the beach across the road & access to the recreation center with hot tub, indoor pool (the next road down) & gym. Quick access to nearby places, ferry to Southport, Fishing pier & beautiful beaches. I wouldn't say it's the best swimming beach as there's some rocks & the wave breaks can suck you in with strong pulls & no lifeguards.Has a cute porch for outside enjoyment & beach accessories."
