「Amazing views and excellent walks on the doorstep. Garden has the most amazing seating area to watch the sunset in the evening. BBQ also a welcome addition. Cottage clean and well equipped. Excellent base for exploring the lakes.」

「Janet, the host, is super-friendly. The cottage is in a stunning location with a brilliant pub near by. And you have all the facilities you could ever want -- a very thoughtfully kitted out holiday home. 」

「Lovely homely cottage. Everything we needed bbq, car parking very comfy bed.Mosedale perfect for walking straight from the cottage. Did not use the car throughtout our stay. Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days」

「The Larches provided us with everything and more for a tranquil walking holiday Easter break. We enjoyed the idyllic surroundings and views, multi level garden teaming with wildlife. Beautiful characterful cottage, extremely informative library for local walks fully kitted with lovely clean comfortable beds, culinary equipment and crockery needs. 」

"スタッフが親切で、到事前に行ったランドリーの状況に関する質問に対しても、親切で的確に教えてくださりとても満足だった。駐車スペースは狭いうえに段差も大きく苦労した。近場で路上駐車もできるようだが、夕方では空きスペースがなく、車での訪問は少し厳しいかも。"

"朝食が大変おいしく毎日違うメニューを注文するのがとても楽しみでした。リビングの冷蔵庫に白ワインを冷やして、一日の散策後、外のバルコニーのテーブルでまったりする時間も最高でした。４つ星としたのはKeswickの街で夕食を取った後坂道を登って歩くのが少し大変だったから。"
