The room was spotless but shabby. The hotel are clearly refurbishing the rooms as our friends had a refurbished one. The windows were too fragile to open so the room smelt a bit musty. Food was amazing, staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere.

A Cumbrian castle built on original Roman foundations in Ravenglass overlooking the River Esk.
