「Very efficient staff. Bed was too soft/not firm enough for my liking and a stale odor lingered in bathroom, but the rest was excellent I must say it was busy with guests and I can see why. The breakfast was good and the area welcoming and very clean. 」
「We stay here anytime we come to Fredericksburg. It’s a very brief walk to the shops and restaurants. In fact, there are two restaurants directly across the street. The lobby always has coffee and cookies for guests and the breakfast (7-10) is good. Staff is awesome and so accommodating to your needs. Certainly not our last stay!」

It might have been because I asked for a room on the 1st floor at the last minute, but Inshould have received credit for the downgrade.
