"We had one of lower floor rooms, recently renovated offered modern, clean accommodation with patio, which we didn’t expect. Bathroom was new modern with great shower! Room was basic, but perfectly sufficient - bright, clean, spacious with good beds (no sofa beds)! Hotel staff could have been more forthcoming with information - for example - Sunday bus service is limited, the usual V line does not operate on Sunday. "Had a great experience overall, Following the Google Maps directions not so easy. Try using Apple Maps instead. Stayed 2 nights, bed was super comfy. Hotel was clean, very beautiful history decor. Only negative I have is the pictures were not accurate, the pictures of the views were misleading. Based on the price in Canadian we paid. In the end, I am happy with the locations. Because it was quiet in the mornings and in the evening. And I will always remember the hotel as we got Engaged there."

"This is a gorgeous property but not for anyone who does not plan on commuting by boat to do anything than wander its island. The Hotel shuttle costs €15 per person per stay and doesn't start until 9am. I wanted to begin seeing Everything in Venice early so either pay private water taxi or take public boats... which if full.. you have wait for next one. The Staff are wonderful and room gorgeous but if you want to go back forth shopping and such, its just not convenient. "
