「The pictures on the listing were different than what we reserved. It was actually a different house. We booked a listing that has 9 bedrooms because we were 15 people, but the actual house was 4 bedrooms. The host also just informed me on the day of the booking that there will be people living in the basement, which was also not on the listing. 「This place was wonderful to stay in! So cute and had everything we needed. The host was also kind and understanding with our circumstances. Will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we’re in the Toronto area!」

「Great bed, quiet and outside property was excellent. But inside not clean, beaten up, hardly any utensils, drip coffee maker but no coffee, worn out thin towels. Firepit advertised but wood was wet and no axe to split. Finally owner did not respond to any texts. Would not recommend this property」

「This place was... underwhelming. We were grateful for the air conditioning that worked really well and a comfortable bed. However, the place could use a deep cleaning and fresh paint, and we were concerned by the lack of mattress protector on the bed, mildew on the shower curtain, and what appeared to be a mouse dropping on one of the chairs. The host was very responsive with information at booking and for check in, and it was nice to have a separate entrance.」

「The space was dirty and not well appointed. Worst part was there was no air conditioning working in the house and when we asked the host who was on the property, he said "sorry, it broke yesterday". It was over 30 degrees outside and hotter inside. Absolutely a horrible experience. We left and I asked for a full refund - called the owner and he yelled at me multiple times "no way!" over and over. 」
