「We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Pros - It was a really short walk to the beach. It seemed like a really new kitchen and recent bathroom update, nice flooring, even a new toaster and coffee maker. The host Richard was very responsive and nice. Very close to a busy restaurant, a good one though, so that might be considered both a pro and a con. 「An amazing property. No dinner available which was a disappointment after calling ahead the week before to confirm. Short drive to town and a great dinner. Spacious rooms. Nice attention to detail with coffee, tea, larger fridge etc. Quiet and bed was comfy. Charcuterie board and wine plus hot breakfast were excellent as well. Would recommend and would return. 」

「We checked in on a Sunday night when it was empty - for two nights. Not sure why they opted to put us in the room right beside the stairs, but it was incredibly noisy at all hours of the day. There is almost no sound proofing between the rooms beside you or above you. Both nights we were woken up by the people above us. We could even hear them peeing.. There were enough beds for our group and the facilities ensured we enjoyed home comforts while also living up to promises of quiet and solitude in nature.
