「The whole building is renovated and everything is very modern and new. The continental breakfast was clean with a nice variety. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed how close it is to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The room had everything we needed, however it would have been nice to have a couple of glasses or cups for drinks. They only had paper coffee cups and we had to ask for an ice bucket. To enter the property, you have to walk over stones to reach two flights of outdoor wooden stairs. 「Room was clean, washroom clean with good shower and water pressure, staff were helpful and courteous. The bed did sag in the centre with 2 sleepers but was not horrible. Amenities were very basic, no place to hang clothing, towels clean and good quality, microwave and fridge but no coffee or tea, no phone in room to contact front desk. For the price this was a very good stay.」

「My close friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. There were enough beds for our group and the facilities ensured we enjoyed home comforts while also living up to promises of quiet and solitude in nature. We had long chats by the fire by night and hiked in the surrounding Backus conservation area by day. We will definitely be back in the future! 」

「The cabin was cute but not as nice or clean as pictures. The worst was beds had been slept in as if someone had just left! No top sheet so I am sure blankes were not laundered either. Bbq was a joke, missing a grate and tank empty and not even connected so no way to cook a meal even if we had stayed! Not sure if this is on a campground there was a trailer close by.
