"We were greeted at reception by warm and very friendly staff. The hotel lobby is lovely. Our room was spacious with a fantastic view over looking the river. The only small negative about the room was that the bathroom could do with upgrading. Breakfast was standard, again the staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Newcastle"

"Great hotel, great bar and great staff. Except the moody man who stands at the entrance asking guests to ID themselves at night when going back to their room. I’m a paying guest with a key card I don’t want to be disturbed by a miserable staff member who doesn’t smile. Put a key card entry on the door and then guests can let themselves in without been scrutinised. Other than that the hotel was great and I would recommend."

"Great location 10mins to centre over the millennium bridge, room with a view over the river.. parking wasn’t a problem, limited spaces Bed was comfortable Over all would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel was good, however the bathroom definitely require an upgrade, the tiles and bathroom suite is dated and plumbing old. The shower pressure was very low. The bedding and towels were really good. And this is very important to me. But definitely bathroom needs improvement"
