"We loved our stay at this hotel. We got a free upgrade to a room with a queen sized bed, which was great since we stayed in Kyoto for five days so having more space made our stay much more comfortable. We also loved that we were less than a 15 minute walk to the downtown shopping area (i.e., Nishiki market, great restaurants, etc.). We had a bus line and a subway station close by, so it was easy to get around Kyoto from the hotel. The staff were super nice and helpful. Out of all the budget hotels we stayed at, this was definitely the best one. Highly recommend!"

"A great place to stay with a spacious and modern feel to the facilities. Location was central to many things and a short walk from the subway. Special emenaties in the room included cooling fan, blue tooth speaker, separate toilet and washroom, spacious and strong shower. I will recommend this place to friends travelling to Kyoto."
