THE BLOSSOM KYOTO
Very clean room. Nicely appointed with modern style. Mattresses were much too soft for my liking and actually slid around the bed. Great water pressure for shower. Complimentary beverages were great. Laundry is available on site but because of the combo washer/dryer design, clothes just didn’t come ...

JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI
This is the best example of "low cost" hotel. They charge a tax fee at check in that other hotels don't charge. It's not even 10 AM and they call to check you out. Personal is robotic and a very few of them speak and/or understand English!

RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto
Good location, convenient to station and walking. Our weather was good, only on rainy day. The shuttle bus to the station was a life saver with my 82-YO mother traveling with us!
