"The room and lobby were very clean. The room has been remodeled a bit, but still smells of old smoke. We enjoyed our stay and loved that we had a balcony to go sit for breakfast. The location is awesome. The kitchen is nice to have. If the smell was gone, it would definitely be better. The chairs by the pool also need replacing, but the amount of barbecues was amazing. If we were there longer and with a group this place would be so fun."

"We loved our stay in Solana Beach. The property was perfect for our family. The location near Fletcher’s Cove was great Beach access. Our only complaint was the ants that we could not seem to get rid of; which we understand is an issue for beach locations. We bought some storage containers for our food and the host brought over additional traps, so we made it work. The beds were good, the amenities and thoughtfulness of the hosts/owners were the best of any VRBO we’ve stayed at, from spices, towels, beach supplies, etc. We would stay here again."

"House is very cute. We brought our chocolate lab and was able to walk to the Del Mar Dog Beach every day. The house has a very nice fenced in backyard and it was big enough to throw the ball for her. Kitchen is nice and had everything we needed. We watched movies every night. We were able to sign in to all our streaming services."

"We have stayed 3 times in this general area of Solana Beach and this location has the best and easiest access to the beach and a great viewing area for the beautiful sunsets. Kim the host was very quick to respond to any questions. The place was exactly as described in the listing. The bedrooms are a fair size, the master bath is a bit cramped but fine, linens, towels, soaps are all provided, the kitchen has lots of plates, dishes, cups and appliances. We did notice whoever does the cleaning between renters needs to do a better job, there was some dust and lots of human hair all around the bathroom sink and tubs which were easily washed away. I also borrowed some cooking utensils to use for our stay from our daughter since the ones there were a bit old and the plastic spatula was melted. Again, this is not a big deal for us. Parking for our car was just around the corner from the front door, we were able to see the car from the dining room. Being right next to the pool was a little noisy but that was no big deal. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the pool on one of the main streets in the complex. There was a bit of car/truck noise in the morning from the garbage truck making its rounds and the construction vehicles that would pull in to do the work on the buildings roofs. There was a lot of construction going on and scaffolding all around some of the buildings and it would have been nice to have known about it. Overall, a great place to stay and we would do so again."

"This is a very nice Casita in a quiet area of Solana Beach. The place was clean, within walking distance of the beach, the Coaster station(train), great restaurants and shops and the bed was very comfortable. Nina was very responsive to communication. There is an amazing Thai massage place just 2 blocks away that I highly recommend, as well. I will definitely be back!! Thanks Nina."
