"The staff was so friendly, the location was walkable to food and the beach. Our room was ok - we were near the expressway so very noisy but you get use to it! Smoke free property but the AC unit had an odor. Free breakfast was nice , but the same items all 5 days! For the price we paid I would recommend and probably stay again if jn the area. "

"No elevators, just stairs. Full beds not queens like listed on there website, beds where on the VERY firm side. No fridge or microwave of coffee pot in the rooms.(maybe with upgrade) Ice machine, microwave, & small food items and necessities on site across from the lobby. Rooms are not serviced everyday if your stay is more then one consecutive night, I had to go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper are room only had what was on the roll. Overall room was clean, pool clean (not heated) property/grounds clean. Parking area there was an abandoned car full of stuff other than that parking area was okay, there was plenty of parking spots. Hotel was near Legoland, strawberry company & a lot of restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, coffee shops, and the beach. Pets allowed not me personally but I saw friendly dogs on leashes around, there is a pet area not fenced in. Overall quiet, average stay. "

"Hi! The room was clean and the staff was lovely. However, the room was super old. And the shower was dreadful. I most certainly would never label our stay as lux or even good. I would label the room we were given as basic--and that would be a compliment. Expedia has always been an amazing resource, so I was surprised!"

"Why I gave one star due to the facts is the room water issues. Either is a super cold or a steamy hot water. It’s not safe for my two young kids to shower either they’re getting sick or getting burn. I called the front desk and the maintenance gentleman came up to our room and couldn’t solved the problem. Unfortunately I have to returned the room keys within less than two hours since checked in. The staff were great and friendly. Unfortunately they’re full booked from what I been told from the front desk staff and this is happening on the weekday (Thursday 03/18/2026). "

"It’s a very unpopular Hilton policy to charge a considerable amount for parking in the hotel’s parking lot on top of the room cost. Few people arrive without a car, so it appears Hilton’s intention is to “nickel/dime” it’s customers."

"I recently stayed at LEGOLAND Hotel California in a Pirate-themed room, and while my kids were initially very excited, the experience started off on a disappointing note. Check-in is advertised at 4:00 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until around 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem particularly concerned or apologetic about the delay, which set the tone for the stay. When we finally got to the room, one of the main pirate-themed curtain pieces above the headboard—something prominently shown in photos—was missing. This was a letdown for the kids. When we contacted the front desk, we were told that rooms re-furbished and nothing could be done, which felt dismissive. For the price point, the room itself felt quite generic, and there weren’t many standout perks to justify the high cost. While breakfast quality was good, the service was slow and disorganized. Guests were often made to wait in line despite several empty tables, which was frustrating. On the day of checkout, we requested additional towels early in the morning (around 7:00 AM) but were told to go to the front desk instead, even though towels were visibly available. This felt inconvenient, especially when we were just trying to get ready for the day. Overall, the experience was average at best. Given the price—around $600 per night—I expected better service, more attention to detail, and a better experience. There are likely better-value options nearby with more amenities and stronger service. "
