"The property is below average with pretty shabby floors and hallway. Stains and dirt on stairs and hallway floors. Rooms near to the freeway will have loud noise from the road. We had booked 3 nights , but checked out after first night and remaining 2 nights we booked another hotel. Sadly not even receive refund for those 2 nights , but still that was a good decision. Expedia rating for this hotel should not be ‘Very Good’ in my experience. "

"Stayed for 2 nights. We were looking for an affordable place to stay near Legoland. This was a 15 minute walking distance to Legoland. The overall stay was okay. There was only 1 staff in the front office, he didn’t say much just checked us in and handed the keys. The room looked clean upon entry. The fridge was larger than a standard mini fridge which was super great but it had what looked to be food residue or rust all over the front of it. The outlet of the microwave was faulty and would go out with every little touch of the cord which was very questionable. It did say there would be daily housekeeping but they never came by. We had to go ask the front desk for more towels and ended up with a big pile of towels and trash by the end of our stay which was annoying but I didn’t expect much from this place. If you just need a place to sleep and don’t care about anything else I’d say this is a good place to stay."

"The facility is well maintained and offers a lot of value. It's close to the beach and Legoland--as well as restaurants and shopping."

"I’m disabled and requested a first floor room. We waited 1.5 hours after check in time for a room and had to get a room on second floor. Very inconvenient and unsafe for me to go up and down stairs. Air conditioning did not cool off room.Let alone room was not available at 3 O’clock and was asked to come back after we just drove 6 hours there."

"I have stayed all over Southern California and this location and vibe can’t be beat! Very few kids stay here it is more for adults but my 18 year old daughter and I had the perfect time. The staff is great and very accommodating. For sure take a chance on this one . Tucked between Carlsbad and Encinitas. "

"Hi! The room was clean and the staff was lovely. However, the room was super old. And the shower was dreadful. I most certainly would never label our stay as lux or even good. I would label the room we were given as basic--and that would be a compliment. Expedia has always been an amazing resource, so I was surprised!"
