"Great location for Del Mar, close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Staff was nice, rooms were clean and safe. Rear parking lot could use some work. The lighting at night was bad, with several lights not working, and trash everywhere. "

"Relaxing stay in extreme comfort"

"The room we stayed at smelled like dirty feet but they let us check in early so we didnt ask to get switched to another room ( we were going to be out and about most of our stay so we just stayed in that room.) The air conditioning doesnt seem to work well. I dropped it to lowest setting (60 something degrees) and room still felt stuffy and a little warm at time but again we were mostly there to sleep. Last night when we arrived, no parking. We had to park in a parking garage about a 10 min walk on 3rd floor. There is definitely not enough parking in front or side of hotel and the off site parking was a good walk away. The biggest and most concerning problem was the bed bugs and the way the situation was approached. Housekeeping came and took bugs (2) in a cup and left. Upon checking out my parking of $28 a day was waived. I feel the whole stay should be refunded. This is disgusting. The bed bugs was crawling on my daughters chest. "

"There was no breakfast included. Went to the little cafe but walked in and it was cold as a meat locker (61 degrees with the a/c on full blast) with one person manning it. This person was making someone else's order and there for there was no one available to take an order. Walked out and went on into town for dinner. Hot tub looked like it had no been cleaned in months, very yellow and disgusting looking "

"Good overall"

"The place was alright. Cute, well priced and walkable to cute restaurants. They weren’t as pet friendly as I’d hoped but we were able to work it out. The soaps in the shower were kind of icky and the sheets probably need to be replaced more frequently. The website said there was a hot tub but I didn’t see one, but I also didn’t ask. "

"First with the positive. Check in was easy and although parking isn’t included it was inexpensive. We reserved a family room that had an electric stove, microwave and fridge. This was great for keeping snacks fresh for our kids. The beds were comfy and each room has its own TV. Also, this facility had a great variety for breakfast. The AC in to room worked awesome! Now the negative. The bathtub wasn’t draining well and my husband unclogged the drain from wads of hair and gunk. Our ceiling fan didn’t function at all. The kids were missing a chain on their fan and couldn’t change the settings. Lastly there was a crack in the kids bathroom sink. "
