「We had a wonderful stay at No. 5 Valley Lodge. The staffs were so helpful and friendly. Frankie was the best. He arranged everything for us from national park tickets, meals, transportation. Anything we ever needed. They were also available through wechat at all times if we had any questions. The hotel is far from downtown (if you want to go to other destinations) but very close to Zhangjiajie NP. Highly recommend this place and we would absolutely book again if we come back. 」

「The hotel is a 5 stars one. The pool is not wow but make the work. The place is well maintained. One thing shocked to me is that they turn off the AC after 10 am aprox until 4 PM. Not sure if they do that in common areas to save electricity or what.. poor employees that need to work with all that heat.」

「The owner made things very easy for us. The best host even we had a language barrier, she tried her best to help us. We had very generous breakfast. The property is very clean. The site location scenery are fantastic. We had a room with glass all around. We would recommend this place to everyone. We would like to suggest to Expedia is to put the adresse of the Warm place clearer with the phone number of the owner and her her name so we can contact her. We spent 3hours with the local taxi...

「Wonderful place with a wonderful owner. We were here in December and in that time of the year, be prepared to have warm clothes. As in every house around, you wear warm clothes inside as well. No central heating but AC in the rooms. The owner of the place is very helpful and everything can be solved thanks to a translation device/application, good mood and patience. 「Cons- Very far from most tourist destinations, expect to spend more money on taxi, and hotel adds surcharge to book cabs. Insect comes into the room because it's in forest area. 「If you want to stay in the country side with no room service, no restaurant, outdoor bathroom (which I don’t recommend in the winter) then this is the hotel for you. It is probably not the best option for tourists that are visiting Zhangjiajie as it in an isolated area. The hotel itself is clean, and the views are amazing! The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. 「Dans l'ensemble le séjour c'est très bien passé. L'emplacement est proche de l'entrée du parc et quelques options de diner sont à moins de 10 minutes à pieds. Le staff de l'hôtel a été très sympa et parle correctement l'anglais. La chambre avec balcon que nous avons eut été très correcte dans l'ensemble.」
