"The hotel is truly unique in terms of surrounding and buildings (though it was in a remote area). The stay was an exceptionly experience to us. We were greeted by the manager and sent off by him personally. He was warmth and sincere when servicing us. The overall feel of the stay was marvelous. "

"It was a nice little hotel. The host was very helpful and courteous. He picked us up from the airport upon arrival and drove us to the train station upon departure for 40 yuan. The place is close to a lot of restaurants and a cable car to Tianmen Mountain. The only thing that was strange for me was the bathroom setup. The shower was right next to the toilet with no shower curtain or door separating it but I adapted to it. "

"Room was adequate and clean. I liked the location 10 minutes walk to South Gate or SW gate can’t remember but a main entrance to two parks I visited in the Wullingyang area. Close to the town area with lots of local restaurants around. They also offered to pick me up from Zhangjiajie train station complimentary. I enjoyed coffee and early sun on the roof deck with the resident cat. "

"Was here for two nights after four nights up in Wulingyuan, very friendly staff, spoke enough English to provide guidance and suggestions. They helped me with my Tianmen Mt. itinerary, path suggestion, and transportation. Room is very cozy and neat, provides toothbrush, comb, shower cap, body wash and shampoo where many places in China don't supply. I just wish the room can be warmer during the winter."

Restaurant at the guesthouse is some of the best food we’ve had on the trip for an excellent value - close to downtown and the airport. It felt very personal and family-oriented, which we really appreciated. They helped us with booking tickets, and when we accidentally forgot something in the room, they immediately offered to arrange sending it to our next hotel. The manager even walked us outside to show us a great local restaurant for lunch, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We felt very well...
