Breakfast was delicious with great local options, and the free shuttle to the park made everything so easy. 「No.5 Valley Lodge was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon. My wife and I stayed here during our visit to Zhangjiajie, and nothing else came close. You wake up surrounded by mountains and rice fields — literally inside the national park. Breathtaking and unforgettable. This isn’t a luxury hotel — it’s a mountain lodge, and that’s its charm. 「The service from the staff was exceptional and really was the highlight of the trip. Elvis and Felix spoke English and really helped us navigate the city, arrange rides and make plans. The location is beautiful and very relaxing, though the distance from the city made it a bit challenging to get food. The provided breakfast was excellent and the restaurant on site was also really good (but a bit pricey).」
