It is also located in a nice neighborhood, with several good restaurants and coffee shops close-by, and a reasonable walk (about a mile) to the Royal Mile."

"Easy and smooth check in. Stayed in 10 bed female dorm. Felt safe, personal space felt private as well. Has great facilities, separate female bathroom and shower, dining and bar area too. Opportunity to meet and mingle with other travellers with group activities, if you wish. Soo close to the Royal Mile, shopping, bars and restaraunts. Staff were very lovely, accomodating and helpful. "Quaint stone house converted in to a 10 room hotel. These are quite common in Edinburgh, and there are quite a few of them in the same area.
Recently renovated and clean. The other guests were all quite which was nice. A short distance from the action of the Royal Mile, about 10 min by buses that run ever few minutes.
WiFi was very slow, but other then that it was a great place to stay and I would stay here again."
