"The room was very clean, but the property is dated and could use some updating. Also be aware that it is not very accessible if you need an option with no stairs. Even with an elevator there were a few stairs to get to our room. Also the lobby where you check in is up a big hill a good distance from the rooms. So if you don’t have a car, there’s a bit of a walk. Keep that in mind if you are disabled. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Excellent service!"

"Not exactly ADA accessible. One elevator serves the back buildings of the hotel but there is an uphill climb to reach it. In fact, the whole of Mackinaw Island does not seem mobility challenged friendly and in my opinion not even trying to be ADA compliant. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast while billed as continental offered an elegant selection of continental plus offerings. Plus, the staff was very helpful."

"The location was great just short walk to see the bridge.The room needed work the tub shower fixtures were all shot sink drain not working properly.And furniture is really ready to go.And was expecting are continental breakfast.Didn’t like the places you wanted to send us for breakfast"
