"We thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this quiet beach house with spectacular views of the sunrise and Mackinac Island on the horizon. It was a delight to watch the sandhill cranes each day move about the beach. The kayaks were an added bonus and we were able to get on the water every day of our stay. The Beach Hutch had comfortable beds for sleeping, cozy living spaces for relaxing along with a furnished kitchen for making meals. The house was only a short distance from downtown St. Ignace...

"Obviously the best thing about this vacation rental is the location. The views and beach were lovely! The house was ok but definitely gets used a lot and had some old/broken things. Overall we enjoyed our stay as the house is just a place to stay and we were mostly on the beach and in the water. "

"We spent a full week at The Cedar Hutch and it was such a great home base! Waking to the sunrise flooding through the windows, and having coffee on the porch while watching the ducks and geese come and go was so relaxing. We also enjoyed the grill and making a bonfire in the firepit. The location was perfect for all our hiking, kayaking and biking activities. "Check in was easy breezy and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was unusually hot outside so the cabin was a bit warm but the host dropped off portable air conditioners for us in a matter of hours. Beautiful scenery and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend! "
