「Property probably about 1910 to 1920. Very good condition. Looks and feels well maintained.
Staff excellent. Very friendly.
Food very good although Chicken Parmesan at dinner far too big a portion.

「The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again.」

Hot food slow to be replenished so quite a wait with people standing around .. only some parts at a time was replenished and whilst waiting for the rest of the dishes original parts got cold …

unusual menu choice for the evening meal (South African dishes). Good breakfast. The staff were very friendly. The bed was extremely comfy with good pillows. The only downside was there was only 2 coat hangers for 2 people. Plenty of parking. Would not hesitate to recommend to others」
