Only things that were a let down - the tv didn’t work and the shower only had two settings - very hot (and I like my showers hot, so this was saying something) or cold (which you couldn’t get it back to cold until you turned it off again)"

"The accommodation was first class; very clean and a decent size with quality furnishings and excellent washroom. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. Car parking was fine and the premises are located in a convenient location for visits to the Castle, Legoland and other local tourist locations. A very enjoyable stay and I would have no hesitation returning."

"All was good with our stay however we only had one towel and one cup/ hospitality items- we raised this as we left and were told they didn’t know 2 people were staying although said : on Booking Also we were surprised to be charged £10 for onsite parking just for one night it seemed excessive "

"Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "
