「The staff, especially front-desk manager, Joao?, was very helpful. (For instance, he personally offered to drive me to the train station, Campanhã, which I had asked him about. He also drove to the shops away from the hotel and bought electric plug-adapters for my charger). I also wish to commend the lady in charge of the daily breakfast spread. Although I’m ashamed to admit that her name eludes me, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that she was unfailingly courteous and helpful!」

「There's a mexican song about a bed of stone and I always thougt it was a metaphor. Not anymore. They offer dayly cleaning but I expend a couple nights and no cleaning at all, although the room was fairly clean upon arrival. Don't get misguided by the photos, you'll be assigned to a room in the back of the property at street level, during summer the heat is intense as the roof is not too high and radiation doest mind how fast the old fan can blow. 「Solid property… It’s a little far away from all of the action, but for me, that was a good thing. It was about a 25 minute walk to the super touristy area. The unit was clean and the staff was really easy to get a hold of. All the instructions for everything were clear. I was really satisfied and would definitely stay here again.」

「Beautiful hotel! Staff were always friendly and helpful. We arrived to a bottle of wine on ice in our room as we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. Very kind and thoughtful touch. Exceptionally clean room! We loved the complimentary mini bar and the sweets etc at reception! Great €8 cocktail of the day! Bar staff were lovely, so helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was very good! We happily ate all the table sharers but seemed a bit of a waste of food when not eaten by other guests....

It was well equipped (coffee machine, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher were all nice additions I wasn’t necessarily expecting), in a good location close to 2 x subway stations and large supermarket, excellent communication from host pre and during our stay as we required. 」
