"We had a lovely 4 night stay with friends, the room was very clean & functional, the staff were friendly & very helpful..My husband celebrated his birthday while we were there, & the staff presented a birthday cake to him,& booked us into a fabulous restaurant for a birthday meal, where the staff there made him feel special too"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I’ve stayed in many central hotels in the old towns across the EU and this is one of the best. The hotel is located across from the river. We stayed on the first floor in room 106, who was a very large room, at the front of the building with a view across the river. The hotel is very clean and historic. The free Brekfast was much better that I had thought it would be, with continental offerings, fruit juice and coffee. The hotel is ideally situated to explore the city by day, and very close to the river and its restaurants for restaurants and bars at night. The staff are amazing - very friendly and eager to please. The hotel is amazing and very good value for money and we would 100% stay again if we come back. "

"Staff were wonderfully helpful with directions, tours, restaurants, and providing extras like another lamp, distilled water, etc. we were disappointed that after booking a “superior deluxe room” to be 344 square feet (30 meters) square we got a smaller room with an interior view and one chair ( we shared time using it) at the small table. That might be more acceptable if we were staying only a night or 2 but we were there almost a week."
