We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Jaguar Oporto! The hotel was lovely, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They were also kind enough to upgrade our room, which was such a thoughtful surprise and really made our stay even more special. The metro station is just a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient to get around Porto. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service, which was a great added bonus. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Porto!

Staff were nice always and professional but didn’t address the hardly working air conditioning. Bed mattresses were too firm for me but maybe others like that. Some lights in room not working. The area is about 25 mins walk from old town. Not very scenic area but it had free parking.

Location was ok but needed uber to get to the main attractions/Duro river. Staff were so nice and gave complimentary drinks on first day. The host even escorted us to our bedroom when we arrived.

The hotel shuttle was a real bonus and made my arrival seamless with a courteous driver. The hotel is well maintained and modern. In the room complimentary fruit, biscuits and a bottle of water were provided and you can have a welcome drink of port at the bar. There is also a fridge handy for keeping your own food/ drinks cool. An Andante travel card was provided that included four paid tickets. The room was cleaned everyday and toiletries replenished. I stayed room only but there were plenty of options for breakfast in nearby Marques square. The nearest metro is also in Marques square and from the hotel it’s around a 20 min walk downhill to the old town. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

As someone who drew up in the Hotel industry, as my father was a GM. And then spent 25 years in region sales. I have well over 10 years of my life staying in living in a hotel. That’s impossible for anyone to relate to. And that’s not a flex that’s just a reflection of my childhood and career. And in that entire time? I have never met a more accommodating understanding and wonderful staff as I did at the Jaguar Hotel in Porto Portugal. The first night was amazing, then I checked out, went to my Airbnb. The biggest mistake I made? Checking out! I am beyond grateful that the staff and management were able to accommodate an emergency reservation for eight additional days at the last moment possible. If you need a hotel in Porto Portugal? This is the only option I would ever recommend as long as I live.

Great hotel in Porto. Very modern and clean rooms. The staff is very helpful, friendly and polite. They offer free parking, which is great since the Metro station is just 2 blocks away. From there you can get to any part of the city. The welcoming fruit, cookies and water is a nice touch, not to mention the welcoming glass of Porto wine. Highly recommended!

Modern hotel with old fashioned great service. From being picked up at the airport (included) arrival at hotel, and personally shown to your room, you can't ask for a better welcome. The room was very well equiped with modern facilities, thoughtfully positioned. Very quiet despite being next to a busy road, as was the air con. Complimentary fresh fruit is a nice touch and makes you feel at home in a country famous for it's home produce. Breakfast was excellent - wide choice including local "pastel" - all the staff were very welcoming - in particular helped me with a ticket to get me started using the metro, which can be confusing to visitors. Only a short walk to the metro and this takes you swiftly into the city centre. Only one minor disappoinment was the meal I had in the restaurant one night. It was not up to the standard I enjoyed when I ate out. Otherwise an excellent hotel, at a reasonable price, good location, great reception, lots of little details that make you feel very welcome. Definitely a place to go back to. Also close to the El Drago football stadium, home of FC Porto, which has a superb museum which is well worth a visit for any sports fan.

Free airport pick-up by hotel waiting for us in arrivals area. 20 mins transfer time in a top of the range electric Tesla car Complimentary port drink on arrival at hotel King sized bed and room was spacious, plenty of storage and nicely decorated. Lovely shower with nice complimentary toiletries. There was a kettle, mini bar fridge and safe in the room. Hot and cold buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice, including delicious homemade pastries. Approx 7 minute flat walk to nearest metro station. We used the in house restaurant for a couple of evening meals. Opens 7pm and didn't require booking. The food was excellent and good value. We tried the cod fish risotto, veal cheeks and a salmon dish. All the staff, from the restaurant, cleaners and front of house, were all lovely and helpful. There is a free transfer back to the airport if you can afford to leave after 8am. It took around 15 to 20 mins walk to find decent restaurants from the hotel. However, the metro is relatively cheap to go further afield (Approx €1.80 each). There was also car parking across the road for hotel guests. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
