「A wonderful place of respite, with lots of thoughtful amenities. Before this trip, I didn't really know what a Dark Skies community was, but oh, how we enjoyed laying out on the balcony at night, looking at the sky and seeing countless stars, compared to the few visible from home. 「Our family stayed here for a weekend fishing trip to Lake Cuyamaca (about a 10 minute drive from the cabin). It was absolutely beautiful and so tranquil. Our family had everything we could ask for in terms of supplies and “at home” comforts in the cabin. The host was great and very responsive. 「The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was a pull-out cutting board that hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival and water was pooled at the bottom of the fridge with pieces of food floating in it. We stayed for one week and there was only 1 roll of paper towels provided, 1 additional roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra trash...

「We had a great weekend celebrating my sisters 40th birthday. This house was was perfect. We loved everything about it, especially the big windows! "名前の通り西部開拓時代を彷彿とさせる、素敵なB&Bです。床鳴りがする古い無垢の床もなんとも歴史を感じます。 西部劇の舞台のような佇まいと古さながら、清掃は行き渡っていて清潔でした。 ホテルスタッフの方も親切で、レストランで食べきれず持ち帰ったものを翌日出発まで冷蔵庫で預かってくださいました。 朝食はホームメイドのシリアルとワッフルに、名物のリンゴのコンフォートが添えてあり、とても美味しかったです。ジュリアンでのんびりしたい時には、とてもおすすめの宿です！"

"立地がとても良いです。夕飯は歩いて行けるJulian Beer　へ行きました。とても居心地のいいレストランでした。ピザやジュースもあるので、子連れでも楽しめるお店です。朝食も歩いて行けるJulian Pieへ行きました。この町の治安も、雰囲気も、Julian　Lodgeも近隣のお店もすべて居心地がよくて、かわいくて、素敵な町に滞在できました。またいつか行ける日があったら、ぜひこのホテルに泊まりたいです。"
