"GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily. "Loved the location just off the Lolli train stop. Also very cute bars and restaurants and grocery store nearby. Was the perfect spot for my 2 day stay in Palermo. Appreciate that the place was clean and updated. "

"This property is huge, beautiful, and centrally located. However, there are a few issues that bring it down: 1. It’s incredibly noisy at night with all the outdoor bars on the street below. They actually provided ear plugs and the double paned windows hardly make a dent in the noise. I wish this has been disclosed prior to booking because it doesn’t quite down until after 2:30. "Comfortable stay. Only one recommendation to clean out the espresso machine. The water tank was very dirty we were jot able to drink from it. Cleaning lady came knocking/rushing us out at 10 am eventhough check out is at 11 am. The property manager was really responsive and kind. He reached out to her and were able to check out without rush. Everything else was very clean and comfortable."
