The main person working we saw during our stay was Maria who was very friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for more from her. The property basically did what we needed it to do. It was clean , breakfast was sufficient and the shower worked a treat , as did the air con which was most definitely needed during our stay. Would recommend.

We cannot express how wonderful our time was at Palozzo Benzo. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Amazing AC especially during the heat wave that hit Palermo. The traditional breakfast was absolutely delicious and helped to fuel us for the long hot days exploring all of Palermo. Thank you to our gracious host. She was so accommodating to our family. We cannot wait to return and stay here again.

Pleasant stay

The location was perfect just outside the main hub , the receptionist she was fabulous very welcoming and helped us with maps and advice to see and navigate around the city . Our room was comfortable good sized double and plenty of bedroom furniture and a good shower. Breakfast was a good standard with decent coffee. Pleased with our 4 night stay.

Only stayed 1 night, wish I had booked a longer stay. Room was clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. Breakfast had wonderful fresh pastries and cakes. Only place we encountered with instant coffee, but the fresh cake more than made up for that. Beautifully restored apartment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to drop off luggage early (9am) after getting off overnight ferry.

The property was located in a convenient area, within walking distance to the main markets, other sights, and the airport bus stop. The host was kindly enough to arrange check-in at a time convenient to us, and the communication was smooth. The room itself was large, but the mattress felt a bit old. We loved the balcony and the view it offered. The breakfast spread was good! We also appreciated the elevator, a rare amenity in older European buildings.

A few misleading elements....1. There is no parking included-this is a very busy area and its street parking only. 2. There is no beach view. 3. Breakfast does not start at 7 am as stated. It's a neat building centrally located. Great place to eat on the street level! It was an old palace and has fabulous chandeliers and characters. Could use a thorough cleaning.
