「My previous stays at Ester Lee were adequate. The hotel was ancient and shabby, but it was run reasonably well and was a plausible alternative if better places were booked. That ended on this trip. I don't know if they have a new owner, but the place is now falling completely apart. The cottage I reserved did not have hot water. They said it would not be fixed soon so they replaced it with a small room on the bottom floor of the hotel. They refused to compensate me for the downgrade, claiming...

「It was a great room, comfortable & so close to the 804 trail & "downtown" Yachats. We booked a room described as partial ocean view - we had an amazing view from the full picture window to watch the waves crash. Definitely would recommend rooms 41, 42, 43」

「Horrible experience-very uncomfortable bed - could feel springs any way I laid. Didn’t sleep well. Old chairs that should be thrown away and smelly. Toilet was unacceptable- the size for a child - too short and small- fell when trying to get up off the commode! Spotty internet even with password- weak signal. Room smelled of mildew and smoke.
