「The balcony was nice. The hotel is dated, but was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water. The TV remote didn't work and the limited staff was too busy to help us.」

「 The hotel was very clean even smelled clean. The breakfast was amazing all 3 of my picky kids found multiple things to eat. Hot food Real eggs, biscuts and gravy down to simple fruit and yougurt to cold cereals to choose from. Pool was clean not over chlorinated a little cooler than i like but kids had a blast. Hotel room was very clean, AC worked great. Really appreciated that the sheets smelled and looked clean with out over bleaching smell. Elevator is little small 5 of us took up all...

「The room had a terrible odor. Beds were comfortable. No A/C in the rooms so we had to leave the sliding door open. The pool was fun for kids but the hot tub is COLD. The place is really run down. It's a 2 star motel, next to an RV park and don't be fooled by the picture of the ocean. this is NOT in Brookings. Not much in this immediate area. I do think breakfast is a great start to the day.」

「Deceiving. Positives: Good job with keeping things clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is convenient. The light show was more fun than we expected. Negatives: the property is in dire need of an update. The photos of the upgraded rooms make you believe you are getting a great room. The only thing great about our room was the size. It was a large room. The rug should be ripped out. It is at least 30 years old. If the rug was gone the rest would be bearable. The furniture is old, but not...

「Really nice property. It’s a motel and does the motel thing really well. The grounds are kept well. The staff is helpful. The room if clean and comfortable. Location was great. Right after the bridge in Florence. Set back from the highway so not loud.」

「We found Edgewater to be just so-so. It is definitely older, but it isn’t nasty. It gave us a good and convenient place to stay. The front desk was friendly and helpful.」

「Very nice hotel only 5min walk to beach. Ample parking @n/c on site. Beds were comfortable. A very good breakfast incl in booking. Our only complaint was sound proofing between floors. We were on 2nd floor and lots of thumps, bangs coming from rooms above us, despite carpeting on floors in rooms, hallways. Next time we will book top floor room with balcony.」
